Nurse's Nook
The nurse’s office is unable to give out medication in the clinic unless we have an order from the doctor. That includes any over the counter medication such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol. You are welcome to have the doctor fax an order to the clinic at 636-445-5331 or email to amberwhyte@wsdr4.org.
Please remember to fill out your student's Health Inventory in Focus by September 4. It is very helpful in the clinic when we have up to date medical information on your student. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

If your student requires prescription medication at school, please ensure we have an updated Prescription Medication Authorization form on file.
Over-the-Counter Medicine
If you’d like your student to be able to take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc. at school, please obtain a Non Prescription Medication Authorization form with your doctor’s signature.

New Policy - Student Use of E-Bikes, Motorized Scooters, & NonLicensed Vehicles
New Policy
The Board of Education believes that student operation and use of e-bikes, motorized scooters, and other non-licensed motorized vehicles and devices on District property may create safety hazards, interfere with pedestrian traffic, damage District property, disrupt school operations, and conflict with established campus traffic controls. Student use of such vehicles and devices on District property is a privilege, not a right, and may be limited or prohibited in the interest of student safety and school order.
The General Rule
Students shall not operate, ride, or use non-licensed motorized vehicles and devices on District property except as expressly authorized by this Policy, by administrative regulation, or by the principal or designee.
Those who ride to school
A student who rides a non-licensed motorized vehicle or device to school may dismount at the boundary of District property and walk the vehicle or device on District property, unless otherwise prohibited by school rules. A student shall not ride or operate such a vehicle or device on District property at any time unless expressly authorized by the principal or designee.
Stopfinder for 2026-27!
Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, the WSD implemented a new app called Stopfinder for all bus-riding families. The app will be parents’ and guardians’ only source of transportation notifications, providing them with more accurate and timely communication.
If you want to know about bus delays or the estimated arrival time of your child’s bus, you must download and use the Stopfinder app. We will no longer send late bus notifications via text or email.
What Stopfinder Offers:
View your student’s daily transportation assignments, including transfer trips and stops.
- Securely share your student’s schedule with caregivers or other family members.
- Receive notifications and updates related to transportation.
- Receive real-time vehicle location notifications based on GeoAlert regions.
Important Access Information:
Access to student schedules in Stopfinder will be granted only to the student's primary contacts #1 and #2 as listed in Focus. These primary contacts can then share the schedule with others as needed.
If you do not receive an email invitation to register for Stopfinder in August or if you have any questions regarding your student’s schedule, please complete the Transportation Assistance Form or contact the transportation department at 636-327-3860.
Learn more about Stopfinder features or visit stopfinder.com.

Athletics and Activities
New Bag Guidelines for Ticketed High School Athletic Events Now in Place
The safety of our students, their families, our faculty, and community remains a top priority for our district. In coordination with neighboring St. Charles County districts, starting August 2026, WSD implemented new bag guidelines to help enhance safety and security at ticketed high school athletic events.
Wednesday Early Release Extra Curricular Study Hall
When WSD has an early release day, Holt High School will provide a place for students that need to stay after for a sport/activity. Students will be supervised the entire time.
Please review the following guidelines and expectations with your student:
Location & Check-In: Study hall is held in the library. Upon arrival, students must check in with Miss Meyer and Mr. Johnson.
Schedule: Held specifically during Early Release Wednesdays.
Arrival Window: Students must arrive at the library within 5 minutes of the school day ending.
Full-Session Commitment: Once checked in with Miss Meyer or Mr. Johnson, students are required to stay for the entire duration of the study hall session.
Purpose: Provides dedicated academic study time and supports student-athletes who need to remain on campus before later extracurricular games, events, or practices due to transportation constraints.

Important Reminders from Admin
- Missouri State Personal Device law
- Holt is NOT an open campus. Students may not leave campus during lunch.
Reporting an Absence: To ensure a smooth and timely pickup during lunch, we kindly ask that parents and guardians remind their students to meet them in the main office. By having students wait in a designated location, we can ensure a quick and efficient sign-out process, helping you get to your appointments on time. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Remember to report a student's absence via email attendance.holt@wsdr4.org.
