The Primary Connection
February 20, 2026
Notes from the Office
I hope your child(ren) enjoyed false spring this past week. As the temperatures have dropped today, we can expect colder weather to return next week. Please remember to send your students next week with all of their winter gear once again, as they will definitely need it!
If you child is missing boots, black snow pants, gloves...you may want to visit the Primary and check out our lost and found. We have several items that belong on some little body and I would love to see them connected with the correct students! Our teachers walk students past the lost and found often and noone seems to be missing the items that are on our table or hanging on the racks. We are overflowing with items!
At EPS, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure, supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
We invite you to join us this Monday for a Parent Academy focused on school safety. During this session, we will share the proactive measures EPS implements to keep our schools safe, the systems we have in place to respond to concerns, and ways families can partner with us to support a secure learning environment.
Your partnership is essential, and we look forward to providing transparency, answering your questions, and working together to ensure the continued safety of our EPS community.
We hope to see you there!

Loose Parts Shed
As we get closer to warmer weather and our area around the loose parts shed being clear on a consistent basis, we will start teaching our students about the items in the shed and opening it for afternoon recess.
The grants received for the shed covered the cost of the shed, shelving and some smaller items that are in the shed. But we need your help to add items to help our minds grow. I have added a link to our Amazon wish list.
