BMHS Celebrates RESPECT

This past week was the WEEK OF RESPECT.

Brick Memorial, along with all schools in the district, emphasized RESPECT, KINDNESS, EMPATHY and AWARENESS among other positive qualities and characteristics.

"Random acts of kindness" were recognized and promotion of sensitivity and appreciation were modeled throughout the week.

Shore Conference Student-Ambassadors named...

Congratulations to Senior Luke Braaten and Junior Kimani Nix for being selected to represent our high school and our Brick Memorial Athletic program as this year's Shore Conference Student-Ambassadors. Each school in Ocean and Monmouth County selects one male and one female student-athlete to represent and articulate messages to and from the Shore Conference Athletic Directors. Both Luke and Kimani were nominated by several teachers and coaches before they were selected.

Gymnastics Team Continues to Improve

We lost a close, hard fought meet agains Southern earlier in the week, but continue to improve our team scores, as we eclipsed the 105 mark for the first time this season. Solid all around performances by a healthy Abby Kenney is a welcomed addition back to our lineup as we prepare for a State Championship!
