Aquarium of the Pacific has welcomed their first egg to the penguin nest! Come watch Kate and Avery tend to their egg and possibly lay another on the Magellanic Penguin Nest cam. Both Avery and Kate will take turns incubating the egg which will hatch in 38-42 days.
Before laying an egg, Kate and Avery wasted no time building their nest for their future little chick behind the Penguin Habitat. Check out this short video showing just how these soon-to-be parents built their nest!
