The Final Stretch...

We are officially in the final stretch. It is hard to believe that there are only 10 more full school days and 2 half days left in the 2022-2023 school year! Let's end the year strong through these last few weeks!

June Spirit Week!

We want to thank our Kaleidoscope Club, our Student Council, and our Equity Team for working together to create and develop our June Spirit Week, which beings today! See the image below for the theme for each day. Color-coded post-its will be available in the Main Office for each color day for students to share who or why they chose to wear a specific color!

RMS Summer Academy 2023

RMS is proud to once again offer a Summer Academy which will run from July 31-August 17th. The program is 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday. See the letter below from

for current 7th graders: advanced art application for next school year

7th grade students interested in applying for the advanced art class next year, the deadline is June 14th. Applications are available through your art teacher and in the Main Office. Congrats, New Inductees!

The newest inductees of the RMS Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society were officially inducted on May 23rd! Congratulations to all of our new inductees and their families. Keep up the hard work!

A big thanks to our NJHS Advisor, Ms. Paredes, for all of your organization and for putting on a great ceremony. Also, thank you PTO for the delicious cake afterwards!

Fun Lesson in ELA

Mx. Kondor and Ms. Kwoka's ELA Classes recently did a lesson where they described themselves using figurative language on lanterns that they made. Cool!

8th Grade Parent/Guardian Volunteers Needed!

Attention 8th grade families! The PTO is looking for donations and volunteers for the 8th Grade Picnic on Wednesday, 6/21. We will be putting on a barbecue lunch for all of the 8th graders after the moving up rehearsal. Volunteers to help set up the picnic, as well as donations, are needed. RMS PTO Corner

It has been another wonderful year and the PTO is grateful for all the support that families give us so that we can help enhance the experiences students and staff have at RMS.

Our annual Honors Tea is Monday 6/5 at 6:30 at Beacon High School. Join us in the cafeteria afterwards for light refreshments. We could use some more help setting up and cutting cake. Please consider helping us anytime after 4:30 in the BHS cafeteria. If you would like to volunteer or donate supplies to this event please check the link https://signup.com/go/LKgfGaY.

We are holding our first ever RMS Flea Market and Craft Fair on Saturday 6/10/23 from 9-3 on the basketball courts. Rent a 10'x10' space from us for $20 and sell your used treasures or your new crafts and goods. You keep your profit! Join us on June 7th for the last PTO meeting of the year at 7pm in the library. We are in need of board members for next year. We need help to carry on the great things we do for RMS. Next year will be the last year for some board members so it is a great time to get involved and learn the ropes.
