Some adjectives that fit my personality are ambitious, adaptable, affectionate, and courageous. Some of my activities are playing games, hanging with friends, and playing basketball. My short-term goal is to make the basketball team this year, and my long-term goal is to make something happen with basketball and get good grades in high school. I am currently reading ESPN:2025-26 NBA Season Preview. I would say Science is my favorite subject because of astronomy and doing experiments. My new 8th grade basketball coach inspires me because he pushes me to get better and allows me to be myself both on and off the court.

Laynah is being recognized as Student of the Month for her funny, outgoing, and unique personality. She is passionate about volleyball and is working toward the long-term goal of making a club volleyball team, while also enjoying short-term goals like watching movies or finishing a show. She is currently reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She enjoys exploring new ideas in books. Math is her favorite subject because she finds it easy to understand, and she is inspired by teachers like Mrs. Robinson from Team 4, who makes class fun and approachable. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and positive attitude makes her a great role model for her peers.
