Warrior Weekly

The mission of Waccamaw Middle School is to ensure that each Warrior is provided a strong, standards based academic foundation, diverse extra-curricular experiences, and opportunities to develop ownership and pride in order to create well-rounded, lifelong learners in a safe and supported community.

Students received permission slips to participate in our school's World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser earlier this week. All permission slips need to be turned in to the student's Warrior Time teacher as soon as possible, as the first box will be distributed on Friday September 5th. All money from the sale must be turned in no later than Friday October 3rd. Students who sell a minimum of 1 box of chocolate will participate in the Warriors Celebration on Friday, October 17th and have the opportunity to win prizes. For more information see the form below:

The WMS School Improvement Counci serves a very important role in assisting with the development and progression of school improvement and innovation as the field of education continues to grow and change. Our first SIC meeting will be on Tuesday, August 26 at 6 pm. During this meeting, we will review the SIC report from last year, look at the school-wide data, and discuss the elected positions.
