March 2026

Stop by the library for your PINCH PROTECTOR!
CKH March Focus: Courage
Courage is the ability and strength to face something that may be difficult or challenging. Courage is not the absence of fear but rather perseverance in the presence of fear and the willingness to stand up for what is right or try something new, even though it may be uncomfortable or uncertain.
Challenge: How are you courageous at home? How are you courageous at school? Complete the 'How are you cougeous?' form linked below. Turn it in to Mrs. Duke in the library for 5 Minga points by March 31st.
Read Across America
Read Across America Week is essentially the nation’s largest celebration of reading. Launched by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998, it’s a week-long initiative designed to get kids excited about books and to motivate them to become lifelong readers. RAA week is all abut books that act as "mirrors and windows"— stories where children can see themselves reflected and windows through which they can learn about others.
