Preparing ALL students for their life after high school.

If you are a business leader or higher education partner who has an interest in working with Washington Community Schools to teach students about local career or educational opportunities, or if you're just interested in learning more about the high-tech learning platforms our students have access to, then make plans to attend our zSpace Showcase Event.

Recognizing our efforts to prepare ALL students for their life after high school, the Department of Education invited Washington Community Schools to be a stop on Roadtrip Nation's tour of Indiana in September. We are excited to host this group on Friday September 6th. They will be offering two AM convocations. One to students in Grades 8-10 and then a second to students in Grades 11-12. Selected students will then be invited to the Roadtrip Nation RV for further engagement after the presentation.

Roadtrip Nation has been around since 2001 and many of you may know of them and their efforts to connect with young people as they explore career options. As local/regional business partners, we are extending an invitation for you to join us, perhaps even share a few words about your opportunities as well.

If you are interested in partnering with us in any way, please reach out to our College & Career Academy Director, Matt Riney: MRiney@wcs.k12.in.us
