A Message from our Principal, Mrs. Mitchell
Hawks View wrapped up our Oregon Battle of the Books tournament last week! We want to congratulate the 70+ students and 17 teams who participated in OBOB this yearโฆwhat a turnout! We had two teams that progressed to our Championship round last Friday - Las Bilingues and ShhhโฆWeโre Reading. These two teams faced a tough battle and were both incredibly prepared for the rounds! Las Bilingues ended up with the win and will represent Hawks View at Regionals this weekend! We are so proud of all of our students who read, studied and competed. They showed such kindness and sportsmanship throughout the process and learned a lot of good life lessons along the way. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Conrad & Mrs. Bassich who volunteered hours upon hours to make this event happen for our students!
Dinner Night Out @ Super Deluxe Today!
Join us today, March 6th, 10am-10pm for our next Dinner Night Out! Super Deluxe will donate 20% of net sales for the day back to Hawks View PAC. Be sure to mention Hawks View Elementary while you are ordering. You can find the flyer here.
OMSI Traveling Planetarium Opportunity
Hawks View PAC is partnering with OMSI this spring to bring the stars to us. There will be an opportunity for up to 90 students to participate in OMSI's traveling planetarium. There is limited space for this event so the student selection will be a lottery. If you would like to enter your student's name into the planetarium lottery please fill out the following form.
