PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Atkinson Families,
As another school year comes to a close, thank you for your partnership and support. We are proud of all our students have accomplished this year and wish every family a wonderful summer.
Please note that the school office will close for the summer on Friday. Report cards will be available online through ParentVUE. Please see below for details.
If you need assistance during the summer break, please feel free to email me at darmenda@pps.net. While I will continue working throughout the month of June, I may not always be on campus. Email is the best way to reach me, and I will respond as promptly as possible. I’ll be away in July and the office will reopen on August 4th.
I hope you and your family have a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer filled with opportunities to rest, play, read, and make memories together. We look forward to seeing you in August!

STAFFING UPDATE
Families of students in the English Scholars program who will be entering 1st or 2nd grade next year should have received an email this week regarding changes to next year's classroom configuration. We have been approved for an additional teacher in the English Scholars program, allowing us to move from two multi-grade classrooms to three grade-level classrooms.
If your child will be in 1st or 2nd grade in the English Scholars program next year and you did not receive this message, please contact me at darmenda@pps.net and I will be happy to forward it to you.
REPORT CARDS AND SUMMER TECH SUPPORT
Report cards are now available in ParentVUE. For more information on how to access them, more information is available on the K-5 Report Card Family Guide.
If you need help with report cards or ParentVUE over the summer when the school office is closed, you can contact tech support at the district office at support@pps.net or 503-916-3375.
