Dear PES Families,

This morning we celebrated our Students of the Month, and it’s always such a great way to start the day. The best part? Seeing how genuinely excited the kids get for each other—it really speaks to the kind of community we’re building together.

Over in Ms. Hodge’s class, students have been exploring the world of pottery. Before break, they worked with clay to sculpt birds of their choosing. Today, thanks to some amazing parent and grandparent volunteers, they got to paint their creations. The birds turned out beautifully—check out the photos below!

And don’t forget: Children of the Arts is tomorrow!
The parade starts at 12:00 PM, and students should plan to wear the T-shirts they received (either yesterday or today) from the PTO. Please have your child in front of the school by 11:45 AM to grab the parade puppet they made in art class. Just a quick reminder—families are responsible for supervising their children during the parade. Some staff will be there too, but they’ll be enjoying the fun right alongside you.
