Madison Elementary School Update

Dear Madison Upper Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Time continues to fly, and as I start my 23rd year with Madison and my 17th as your principal, my excitement for a new school year hasn't changed. I'm truly looking forward to catching up with familiar faces and greeting our new students and families.

To keep you informed, I will send out weekly updates every Sunday via text and/or email. Strong partnerships between home and school make all the difference, and I’m honored to work alongside you to make this year exceptional. Hope to see you all at Open House on Tuesday!

To ensure safety and establish consistent routines for the start of the school year, please note the following:

• Initial Deadline: All bus change requests for the beginning of the school year must be submitted by Tuesday, August 18th.

• Freeze Period: Once the school year begins, no bus changes will be permitted until September 14th.

• Policy Limit: Families are allowed a maximum of three bus changes per trimester.
