November 24 Monday Memo

We hope you are all enjoying the first day of fall break! Take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some quality moments with family and friends. As we return to school next week, please remember that picture retakes will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd. If your student needs a new photo taken, please be sure they are prepared for retakes that day. Enjoy the break and Happy Thanksgiving!

Our canned food drive was a huge success, with students collecting an incredible 2,423 food items for our “Pie the Principal” challenge! Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped support our community. A special shout-out to Kason for giving Mr. Graham a well-deserved break and choosing to pie Ms. Dana (also known as Mom) instead. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate our students’ generosity!

Let the holiday shopping begin! Our next Book Fair is the first week of December. We need adults to help our students shop. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

Krapf School Bus will be hosting a Winter Wonderland Family Fun Day at Rainbow Elementary on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. The event will include games, arts and crafts, face painting, and more!

Thank you to Texas Roadhouse for generously hosting our PBIS fundraiser! It was a fun and lively evening filled with great food, exciting raffle baskets, and wonderful moments together. We loved seeing so many KH families come out to support our school and celebrate positive behavior. Your presence and enthusiasm made the event a true success!

The Leo Cart is an exciting rolling PBIS store where our students can shop using their PAWS! We invite enthusiastic volunteers to join us in making the checkout experience smooth and enjoyable for our students. Each item is clearly marked, making it easy to find something special. Simply pick up the cart from the office and roll it down the hallway. We absolutely love seeing our KH families dive in and contribute to this wonderful initiative! Your involvement makes a difference!

Thank you, Ms. Michalski, for organizing yet another beautiful and meaningful display for our school community. This month, students and staff each filled out a leaf sharing something they are grateful for, and Ms. Michalski thoughtfully arranged every leaf to create a vibrant showcase of gratitude. The display serves as a warm reminder of the many things—big and small—that enrich our days at King’s Highway.
