Keeping Kids Healthy
It's wonderful to enjoy the warmer temperatures and spend more time outdoors. However, it's important to remember that the flu is still circulating, and we continue to see a few students absent each week due to illness. If your child has a fever, please be sure they stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever has subsided before returning to school. Your cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy environment for both students and staff is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
4th grade builds Solomon's Temple
The 4th grade students began by learning about Solomon's Temple and its biblical historical significance. Following that, each student was given the task of creating a detailed and accurate model of the temple based on what we know about it. We’ve been so impressed by their creativity as they’ve used a variety of materials to bring their models to life. Their hard work and imagination truly shine through in each project!
KAES students plant trees as we focus on being "ROOTED IN JESUS"
During our recent chapel service, the 5th-grade students gave a powerful message of being spiritually rooted in Christ. Through song, skits, and readings from Scripture, they brought to life the importance of standing firm in faith and allowing God’s Word to take deep root in our hearts.
We continued chapel outside as we gathered together in a meaningful act of unity and symbolism. Dividing into four groups, we worked together to plant four oak trees. These trees serve as a living illustration of the message shared during chapel. Just as a tree’s roots go deep into the soil to provide stability and nourishment, so too are we called to be deeply rooted in Christ. Our faith, like these trees, is meant to grow strong, to stretch upward toward the light of His truth, and to bear fruit for generations to come.
As we watch these trees grow and flourish, we pray that each of us, too, will continue to grow in faith, rooted deeply in the love and teachings of Jesus.
