RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 5 ISSUE 16
April 18, 2026
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,
We are officially in the final grading period of the 2025–2026 school year. Now that we have returned from Spring Break, it is imperative that we work together to finish the school year strong.
This is a critical time to remain focused, stay engaged, and support one another as we prepare for the successful completion of the academic year. Every day counts, and our collective effort will ensure that our scholars achieve their goals and end the year on a positive note.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Riley High School and to your scholar’s success. Together, we will continue to grow, achieve great things, and celebrate the milestones ahead. 🎓✨
I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Educate the Whole Student
2) Building Meaningful Relationships
3) A 95% attendance rate
4) A 90% graduation rate
We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
