CELEBRATIONS
Congratulations to Mrs. Gabrielle Evans on being named the 2026–2027 Ten Oaks Middle School Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Evans serves as one of our outstanding 8th grade ELA teachers and is an exceptional educator who leads with kindness, dedication, and a genuine love for her students. She has an incredible ability to build meaningful relationships while creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to succeed.
Known for her hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Mrs. Evans consistently goes above and beyond to support both students and colleagues. She is a reflective educator who continually seeks creative ways to strengthen instruction and engage students. Through her leadership of our Fox Den, she has also helped foster a positive, collaborative, and goal-oriented environment for our staff.
Mrs. Evans truly embodies what it means to be a Silver Fox! Her kindness, high expectations, and dedication to helping others grow make Ten Oaks Middle School a better place every day.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Evans and couldn't think of a more deserving educator to represent our Silver Fox Family!
A Decade Rooted in Success! Success—Nothing Less!
WHAT A WAY TO END THE SEASON!
The Silver Foxes wrapped up their TOMS B-Team football season with a BIG win over the Whittemore Park Tigers in the final HTC Hometown Bowl Game! The Foxes came out on top in an exciting, close-fought battle, winning 22–20!
We want to thank all of our amazing fans, cheerleaders, and especially our coaches and players for their hard work, dedication, and unwavering support throughout the season. Way to go!
SUCCESS, NOTHING LESS!
Order in the court!
TOMS Mock Trial took the courtroom at the Horry County Courthouse in Conway for a dress rehearsal as we prepare for regional competition in November!
Our team worked hard to put their skills to the test, sharpen their arguments, and make sure they’re ready to make their case when it counts. From opening statements to closing arguments, these students are proving that preparation is no small trial.
The verdict is still out on who will win regionals, but one thing is certain: this team is working hard to make a compelling case.
We’re proud of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the team.
Congratulations to our Ten Oaks Middle School Silver Foxes selected for the Horry County Schools All-County Chorus!
We are incredibly proud of these 22 talented students. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for music have truly paid off!

Way to represent the Fox Den and let your voices SHINE! We are so proud of you all!
We should celebrate our AMAZING Carolina Forest Bus Drivers every day!
Today, we had the opportunity to spread a little early Christmas cheer by surprising our bus drivers with their very own TOMS Year 10 t-shirts! Now they can proudly represent our Silver Fox Family while traveling their routes each day!
Our bus drivers play such an important role in keeping our students safe and getting them to and from school each day. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, patience, and care for our Silver Foxes!
A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Kelley Zehfuss for helping us organize this early surprise for our drivers!

https://www.facebook.com/CarolinaForestBusOffice
While stops and times for most Horry County buses are fairly established, it is a good idea for parents to reach out to their local bus office at the beginning of the year to verify stop times and locations.
You can click the link, https://forms.gle/Fj3Hu5kLqcZLJWW58 for a form to request information on stops. The forms will be worked and you will be emailed back the stop bus number and times. This may speed up the process as phone lines will be busy.
