Principal's Message
Dear Raymer Families,
What a great start to another school year. Can you believe it is already Fall, and the cooler weather will hopefully arrive soon? With that, we know there will be an increase in sweatshirts and jackets. Please begin writing your child's name on all items brought into the school.
You may have heard your child talking about the daily rewards given in the cafeteria for attendance. We are going to reward our grade levels with the highest percentage of attendance each month. We are encouraging our student to be present and on time every day. Attendance matters!
Reminder: If you need to report an absence, please call the attendance line 419-671-7651 or email Ms. Jasmine at jglaze@tps.org.
A few reminders of some upcoming events. Our picture day is scheduled for October 5th. We will have a 2-hour delay on October 16th; do not send your child in early. Our next Ohio Skate night is on October 21st. . Parent-teacher conferences will be on October 28th and October 29th. There is no school for students on October 29th and 30th. Reminders are being sent home with the date and time you signed up for at Open House.
We need all guardians, who have not updated their returning registration in parent portal, to do so immediately. Students will not be able to participate at recess or go on field trips without this completed. Please call the office if you need help or have questions.
Last, please try to make all arrangements for dismissal before the school day begins. We understand emergencies happen, however, we would like to limit interrupting the classroom with phone calls. In addition, please call the school with any changes to bussing and pickup prior to 3:00 pm. We appreciate your understanding with this.
As always, I am looking forward to another great month!
Yours in Education,
Mrs. Yolanda Mies
