End of Year Parent Survey
As we start the busy home stretch to summer, we'd appreciate a few moments of your time to complete our end of year parent survey. We have significantly revamped our survey this year. Using a single link, you will be asked questions for each school you have a student attending. The survey should take you between 5 and 10 minutes to complete. We're striving to be better tomorrow than we are today and your feedback is a vital part of our growth.
Parent Input Survey for 25-26 School Year
Please complete this optional form if you would like to provide some insight on your child's class placement for next year. We cannot accommodate specific requests for teachers or students to be with or not with one another. Thank you for your input and understanding with this process.
Lost and Found - Last Chance to Find!
This is your last chance to find something that has been lost. Our lost and found will be donated after the last day of school.
Veggie Tasting Tuesday
This week was our last Vegetable Tasting Tuesday for the school year. I want to thank our fabolous Volunteer Coordinators; Andrea Jagello and Anne Lafay! They make a great team and between them attended each VVT! A huge thank you also goes out to our amazing parent volunteers! All of you make this program possible!
On to the veggie. Have you ever heard of microgreens? They are young greens that are harvested just before spouting. Microgreens are packed full of vitamin A, C, E and K. They contain 40x more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts. Keep them refrigerated and eat them raw so they keep all their nutrients. Try adding them to salads, blending them into a smoothie or even using them in sandwiches. This is an easy way to increase the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy and grow!!
SHAC Jr Recognition
Our MES's School Health Advisory Council Jr. (SHAC Jr.) has been very busy this year educating and encouraging our students, staff and community to incorporate healthy habits into their daily routines. They created wellness tips for the morning announcements during National Nutrition Month, generated videos about nutrition and exercise for WKID, developed wellness assemblies for every grade level, helped kindergarteners compost daily, created positive messages for upper grade restrooms, and they cheered on our community at our Walk to School Day events.
Kudos to these fabulous fourth grade students: Simon Block, Gigi Bruening, Evelyn Dwyer, James Frazier, Audrey Goldman, Bennett Griscom, Avery Heimann, Hailey Ironmonger, Mattie Jepson, Amelia Kissel, Lola Kolligian, Owen Lockhart, Victoria Martinez-Rentas, Emma McSoley, Abby Scott, Hollis Slaughter, Madison Szczesny, Finley Watt, Amelia Young, Lorelei Zaragoza. Advisors; Katie Naegeli and Synda Bernicke

WOW! MES Staff Shouts
This is your last chance for the 24-25 school year to send a quick note of thanks, praise, gratitude for a staff member this year. These notes bring such a bright smile to our staff, many of them end up hanging on their refrigerators at home!
