RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 4 ISSUE 13
February 3, 2025
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,
" The goal of education is the achievement of Knowledge and the dissemination of truth." - John F. Kennedy
We have approached the mid point of the third quarter which means that our scholars are able to assess where they are today and have a discussion on how to improve their areas of concerns(learning, attendance, or behavior). I want to encourage our scholars to work hard and never give up. The faculty, staff, and administration will stand strong with you and your scholar.
WE WILL CONTINUE RAISE THE BAR AT RILEY!
I am looking forward to working with you and your student as we work toward an academically successful school year. I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Get students reading on grade level
2) A 95% attendance rate
3) A 90% graduation rate
We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
#proudprincipal
