A Successful Start: Building Lifelong Learners Together! 🥳

Hey Algonquin Pre-K Families,

We can hardly believe the first two months of the school year are complete! From mastering new centers to making wonderful new friends, the energy and growth in our Algonquin Pre-K classrooms have been truly inspiring.

This success belongs to you, too! Your involvement, encouragement, and trust are the foundation of everything we do. Our partnership with our Pre-K families is the essential ingredient that turns early lessons into a habit of learning—a curiosity and love for school that will stay with your child for a lifetime.

Thank you for being such an integral part of our community. Here's to many more months of discovery!

Our goal is 100% of families participating in Parent -Teacher Conferences

🚨👮‍♀️ A Big Thank You to Our Park Forest First Responders! 🚒🍩

We had an exciting month of learning and community building here at Algonquin Pre-K!

Our little learners had a fantastic time getting hands-on with fire safety thanks to the amazing team from the Park Forest Fire Department! They learned important lessons about what to do in an emergency and that firefighters are helpers.

Then, on Character Day, we were thrilled to share some special treats and build wonderful relationships with the friendly officers from the Park Forest Police Department! It was a great opportunity for our students to see our local police as trusted community friends.

We're so grateful to both departments for taking the time to invest in our youngest citizens and help us teach important lessons about safety and community trust.

Thank you, Park Forest Fire and Police, for your partnership! ❤️

Understanding Our District Communication Chain of Communication

When you have a question, concern, or need support regarding your child’s education, please follow the communication path below.

Start with your child’s teacher, who can address most classroom or academic concerns. If the issue is not resolved, reach out to the school principal, who oversees school policies and operations.

For matters that extend beyond the school level or involve district-wide policies, contact the superintendent’s office.

If concerns remain unresolved after following these steps, they may be brought to the Board of Education during public meetings or through formal communication channels.

Following this process helps ensure that concerns are handled efficiently and at the appropriate level.
