Today students got to experience a day of Space Odyssey!
We kicked off the day with an interactive and entertaining school wide assembly. Students observed a mind-blowing demonstration about the vacuum of space, contemplated the real size of the moon and investigated astronomy tools!
Throughout the day classes visited pop-up exhibits where they could explore meteorites, constellations and Jupiter's storms. They also participated in hands on workshops as Pac-Sci educators visited classrooms. Some students got to experiment bending light with prisms, some analyzed star gases to learn about stellar composition, and others put their NASA hats on and used science and math to plan a successful mission to Mars!
It was a fun day had by all and we want to extend a HUGE shout out to the CWE PTA for arranging such a fantastic day! Be sure to ask your student all about it!
Coming to Crestwood!
This is a family event for all ages where each family will build a motorized model together! Each family must register for a session and come on time for their 1-hour session to get the best experience. Space is limited! Please only sign up for 1 session per family.

Pizza will be served in the cafeteria AND the book fair will be open in Library. Come for both Pizza and the BookFair in the designated time that coordinates with your Bricks 4 Kidz Session.
