As we approach a new school year of sports, we wanted to share this video & document from the MIAA that puts our educational athletics into perspective. Please enjoy!

I wanted to share some important information regarding our new registration process for Hull Athletics.

After receiving valuable feedback from our key stakeholders—including coaches, the school nurse, and parents—we have decided to transition to FinalForms for all athletic registrations. Please review the attached documents for more information about the new system and the process (Parent Introduction Document & Parent Registration Playbook).

Fall sports registration is now officially open! Please complete your student's registration as soon as possible. Student-athletes will be held accountable for ensuring that all required registration items are completed before participation. STUDENTS WILL ALSO NEED TO REGISTER AND SIGN ALL THE FORMS: BOTH THE CONCUSSION AND THE SPORTSMANSHIP COURSES ARE DUE FOR FULL ELIGIBILITY.

Please note that registration will close on Friday, August 21, to allow the athletic department and our school nurse sufficient time to review and finalize all registrations before the start of the fall season.

The Athletics Department would like to welcome Jake Mahoney as our new varsity baseball coach! Jake served as the JV coach for the past four seasons. Coach Mahoney brings a passion for baseball, leadership, teamwork, and helping student athletes reach their full potential. His commitment will make a positive impact both on and off the field. Jake is a graduate of Hull High School where he played high school baseball and is currently our School Resource Officer.

- ATHLETIC USER FEES: User Fee Payments are due! The structure of payment: 1st sport is $250, 2nd sport is $175, 3rd sport is $150, individual cap is $575 and family cap is $1,050. CONCUSSION CERTIFICATION: Please have student-athletes conclude the concussion course on NFHS and return the certification to the athletic department. https://nfhslearn.com/courses?role=student

- IMPACT TESTING:

Every student athlete should complete an ImPACT test. The attached file explains what an ImPACT test is. The ImPACT tests are valid for two years from the day they are taken and should be retaken every two years.

Student athletes can complete an ImPACT test on their PC or chromebook. They can not do it on their phone. They should take it in a quiet place. It should only take about 30 minutes to complete.

In the season opener and the game following, Christian scored 5 goals in each of his games vs Norfolk Aggie and Tri-County. The Pirates won both games, 9-1 vs Norfolk Aggie and 7-1 vs Tri-County and have started the year 2-0-1 through 9/16.

In her 3rd & 4th game of the season vs. Bristol-Plymouth and Carver, Brianna scored a hat trick (3 goals) and 1 assist. The Pirates beat BP 8-3 & Carver 8-1. Pirates are 2-1-1 through 9/16.

Nate O'Hare & Landen Manfredi has been selected by the Patriot Ledger for players to watch this year on the defensive side of the ball.

Tommy Burke, a graduate of 2023 and Superbowl State Champion in 2022, Tommy Burke walked for Lordvan at New York Fashion Week this past weekend.
