SFMS is in a FIERCE Competition with CMS. We have been tasked to raise as many peanut butter donations as we can.

I am FIERCEly committed to beating CMS whenever possible. Your students will be turning in their donations to 1st period. The 1st period with the most donations will receive a donut party.

We want to do everything we can to help our students attend school everyday.

Our goal for the 2023-24 school year is to have an attendance rate that is 93% or higher.

As of 3/28/24 we are at 93.441%. That is a 0.04% decrease from where we were the week before.

This week, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible Assistant Principals who play a pivotal role in shaping our school community. They are truly heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes, providing support, guidance, and leadership to our students and staff.

Let's take a moment to recognize their dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence. Thank you for all that you do to make Cleveland ISD a place where students thrive and succeed!

It is not just "an eclipse", this will be "THE ECLIPSE" for Texas. Cleveland ISD has decided to close for Monday, April 8th to allow students and staff time to be home with family & friends to experience this once in a lifetime learning opportunity event to make memories, take pictures, make videos together.
The next eclipse is not until 2044 and it will be nowhere near Texas.
Please remember to follow the recommended safety protocols for properly viewing the solar eclipse. We will see all students and staff back on Tuesday, April 9th.
