Hero Happenings!

Grade 6 students may sign up to participate in this after-school event. All race days begin at 4:15pm. The entry fee is $5 and covers all three race days!

You can get an entry form from Coach Waters or Coach Wormington in PE, or by clicking here. Forms should be returned to the office and we will get them back to our coaches. Transportation to the races will be provided by the parent/guardian of the student.

Race Days:

• Wednesday, Sept. 21 @ HBHS
• Wednesday, Oct. 12 @ Sonora Middle School
• Wednesday, Oct. 26th @ Sonora Middle School

1. We do not have supervision for students before 7:45am. Students will be able to enter the building at 7:45. We also will have an adult at the crosswalk at 7:45am.
2. First block begins at 8:05am. If your child is tardy, he/she is missing instruction. Please make every attempt to have students here on time.
3. All of our teachers have to come in the building at 8am to be ready for instruction, if you drop off at 8am or later, you MUST bring your student to the front door.
4. Cell phones should NEVER be in use when you are driving on a school campus. It's the law! Please help us with this.

Every week we will be highlighting staff in our building. We have amazing people at Hellstern. We hope you enjoy learning about everyone that makes Hellstern a great school!

14 - Back to School Rally @ Arvest Ballpark (5-9pm); first 10,000 people enter for free

15 - Vision & Hearing Screening - 6th grade only
