As graduation week approaches, we want to share some important final reminders and celebrate all that your seniors have accomplished. We are so proud of the Class of 2025 and look forward to honoring them throughout the week ahead.

Senior Cedar Point Trip – Monday, May 19
Senior Night of Reflection – Tuesday, May 20 at 7:00 PM
Graduation Rehearsal – Friday, May 23 at 8:30 AM (please arrive by 8:00 AM)
Graduation Ceremony – Saturday, May 24 at 10:00 AM (graduates arrive by 9:00 AM)

Graduation Ceremony Etiquette

As we prepare to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2025, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout your student’s journey. Graduation is a significant milestone that marks years of hard work, growth, and achievement—not only for our students but also for their families and loved ones.

To honor the dignity of this special occasion, we kindly ask that all attendees demonstrate respectful and appropriate behavior during the ceremony. As each graduate is presented with their diploma, we request that the audience hold all applause and celebrations until every student’s name has been called. This ensures that each graduate receives the recognition they have earned and allows all families to hear and appreciate their student’s moment.

Thank you for helping us create a meaningful and memorable ceremony for all. We look forward to celebrating this important day together as a Warhawk community.

Graduation Details and Reminders

Our Warhawk Class of 2025 graduates will be honored on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Celeste Center at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, 717 E 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. (Parking is $7; exact change only)

Rehearsal Date

Friday, May 23, 2025 at 8:30am (Graduates arrive by 8:00am)

Schedule

Doors will open at 9am, ceremony at 10am. Graduation attendees will enter the Celeste Center at the main entrances located on the West side of the building.

NO balloons, backpacks or noise makers will be permitted inside the Celeste Center. The use of air horns, other noise-making devices and beach balls is distracting and are strictly prohibited. In consideration of your graduates and neighbors, please turn off all cell phones, watches, or other electronic devices.

Don't forget to set up your SchooLinks Alumni Account if you have not already done so. Some of the highlights include: requesting transcripts after graduation, using the college search and career center features, sharing updates about your career after high school, and more!

Final Transcripts

Final transcripts will be sent towards the end of June. We will send the final transcript to the school you listed on the Senior Survey/Senior Year End Activity. If you do not complete the senior survey, we will not know where to send that final transcript. See this spreadsheet to make sure your name is on the list. If you do not see your name, that means you did not select a college for your transcript to be sent to. See here on how to select a college or change a college.

CCP Transcripts

If you took any CCP courses and want those courses to count for college credit, you will need to request your official transcript from the college you took your college coursework.

School Google Suit

Your school Gmail account will be deactivated. There is no timeline on when this will happen, but if you'd like to have copies of what you have done while a student in Westerville City Schools you can click this link: Directions. This link will direct you on an option to choose.

Seniors – Want to Keep Your School Files? Here's How!

You can transfer your school Google Drive and/or email account to a personal Google account before graduation. 🎓 Directions are included below and also posted in the Pupil Services folder in Schoology.

Before You Start:

Make sure you have a personal Google account (and know the password!).
You'll need to access that personal account during the process to enter a verification code sent by your school Google account.

👉 If you're using a non-Google personal account, no worries—there’s a different set of steps for you, and they’re all in the help doc linked below.

After Starting the Transfer:

Once you begin the process, you can log off your Chromebook or computer. Within about a week, your school files and emails will show up in your personal account.
