If your student already qualifies for the free/reduced school meal program, you don't need to read the rest of the information.

If your family income is within the levels on the chart below, we encourage you to keep reading.

Through the submission of the Application, students may qualify for:

• Free and reduced-price meal benefits, (Washington state pays the copay if a family qualities for the reduced meal benefit, therefore it's also free)
• Summer EBT benefits (if enrolled in a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program), and/or
• Reduced fees for other programs and activities.

This information is also used by the state and federal governments to send increased funding and provide other educational programs in schools. Your participation will help secure funding for the school district programs, such as our Title I math, reading and behavior intervention program even if you choose not to participate in the meals programs
