Dismissal Change Form, please read!
New Change of Dismissal Form
To help streamline our daily end-of-day procedures, we are transitioning all dismissal changes to a simple online form. You no longer need to call the front office and this keeps a paper trail of your request. Please note that our daily cutoff time remains the same: all changes must be submitted by 1:30 PM each day to ensure our staff can safely route every student to their proper location. To make updating your child's pick up quick and easy, please bookmark this link so you can access it whenever you need it!

π Reminders
- We would love for you to read more and join our amazing PTO!
- October Lunch Visitor Sign Up
- Attendance - Please make sure that that you are logging all absences into Skyward as well as uploading any doctor note you may have.
Please bring your student car tag to dismissal. If you are late or do not have your car tag, you will need to check your child out at the office with your ID. Please make sure that you have all of your emergency contacts in Skyward. If they are not listed in Skyward, they will not be allowed to pick-up your child.
Dismissal changes - If you need to change your child's dismissal for the day (how they typically go home), you need to notify the office before 1:30 pm. Please do not solely email their teacher as they may not see the email until after dismissal. Additionally, if you have an older student as well, the office needs to be aware of the dismissal change for both. We can not rely on the older sibling to let them know. This is for the safety of all the kiddos.
Headphones: Send headphones with your childβs name on them please. No wireless headphones or USB plugs.
HOMEROOM APP: Please download this app - CODE will differ per teacher.
Please put a change of clothing in your childβs backpack.
Please pack snack separate from lunch and make sure your child knows as well.
Also some important reminders for your childβ

π€ Parent Resources
Reading Pouches - Your child is bringing home a reading pouch daily. This pouch will include additional materials to reinforce our learning at school. These items will include blending lines to practice letter sounds and CVC words, dictation pages, sight word books, etc. This homework can be completed throughout the week and your child can return it to their teacher when they have finished.
Is your child struggling with coming to school or with homework?
Here's how we can help:
Create a consistent homework routine: Set aside a few minutes each evening for reading, practicing letters and sounds, or reviewing math skills. Celebrate your childβs effort and progress!
Communicate with your childβs teacher. If your child is struggling with school or homework, please reach out. We are here to support your child and work together to make learning a positive experience.
Sight Word Practice
Practicing High Frequency Words every night is one of the building blocks in learning to read proficiently. Learning them by heart. You can always work ahead if your child is ready to do so. We encourage all kindergartners to work on their sight words for 5 min a night.
