Summer Learning Adventures
Two Free & Engaging Programs for Our Youngest Learners!
Get ready to “book” a summer full of stories, imagination, and exploration!
- Locations: Bedington Elementary School, Opequon Elementary School, Mountain Ridge Intermediate School
- Time: 9:30–11:00 a.m.
- Dates: June 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 | July 2, 7, 9
- Who: Students entering Kindergarten through 3rd Grade
Students will dive into exciting books, build literacy skills, and enjoy a fun, travel-themed reading experience that brings stories to life.
Admission is free of charge, and no registration is required. Transportation and meals will not be provided.
Drop-Off Instructions
Parents/guardians must park their vehicle, accompany their child(ren) into the school, and sign them in each day. Students may not be dropped off unattended at any location.
Please use the following parking and entrance locations:
- Bedington Elementary – Park on the side of the building and enter through the door labeled “Office.”
- Opequon Elementary – Park on the side of the building and enter through the front doors.
- Mountain Ridge Intermediate – Park behind the school and enter through the library doors, which will be clearly marked.
Discover, compute, and explore the world of numbers in a fun and interactive way!

- Who: Students entering Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
This hands-on program helps students build confidence in math through games, activities, and problem-solving challenges—all while having fun!
