Principal's Corner
Dear Indian Prairie Families,
We hope that everyone enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating Spring Break and had the opportunity to spend meaningful time with family and friends. As we welcome students and families back to campus tomorrow, we are excited to resume our collaborative work to support academic growth, social-emotional wellbeing, and engagement. Please review any communications from your child’s teacher or our office for schedule updates, upcoming events, and classroom reminders. If you have questions or need assistance preparing for the return, contact the main office—our staff is ready to help. We look forward to a positive and productive remainder of the school year.
Warm regards,
Ms. Nelson

6 Tips for Sending Kids Back to School After Breaks
1.Remind them of the return to school.
2. Whether the student is a 5-year-old or a 15-year-old, getting enough sleep at night is critical to their ability to learn.
3. Talk to your child about upcoming school events, projects they may have forgotten about and what they’re looking forward to when they go back to school.
4. If your child is fretting about going back to school, try setting up a small play date with their school friends
5. Remind children about their assignments throughout the break so they don’t feel rushed and harried before going back to school.
6.Is OK not to be OK- Despite your best efforts, your child may still have mixed feelings when returning to school after a break, and that is perfectly normal.
