Wow! March flew by, and we’ve only got about 7 weeks of school left. How did that happen?! The final stretch is here, and as you all know, these last two months are packed. Our calendars are bursting with memory-making moments, celebrations of growth, and all the little things that make this time of year so special. I want to highlight some of the events below.

🐰 EASTER CLASS PARTIES

• Thursday, April 2nd
• You must be pre-registered to attend.
• Everyone attending will be required to leave your ID with the front office. We will return in when you exit.

🏠 HOUSE SHIRT ORDERS

• Students will wear their House shirts at Day of Champions. If a student doesn't purchase a House shirt, no problem. Please have them wear a solid white shirt.

🏫 Pre-K & Kindergarten Signing Day Registration

• Tuesday, April 7th from 4:00-6:00 P.M.
• If your student is already enrolled, you do not need to attend.

📚Family Lunch & Book Fair Bash: Eat, Read, Repeat

• Tuesday, April 14th and Wednesday, April 15th
• A student can only have guests attend 1 of the 2 days and there is a minimum of 3 guests per student.
• Due to limited space, we can only accept 70 guests each day, so sign up now if you plan to attend.

🧪 Title 1 STEM Night: Mad Scientist Edition

• Thursday, April 17th from 5:30-6:30 P.M.
• Class with the highest attendance percentage will receive a popsicle party!
• Dippin' Dots will be on site to purchase
• Scholastic Spring Book Fair will be open for families during the event.

🎓🏆 REMINDER: End of Year Awards/Graduation Incentive

• PRIZE: 4 RESERVED FRONT ROW SEATS
• 1 student from each grade level will win
• All students that have PERFECT ATTENDANCE for each week will receive an entry
• If your student has PERFECT ATTENDANCE for month, you will receive your lunch pass AND your student will receive 5 entries.

As you all know, Summit Hill parking gets filled up quickly any time we have an event. Please ensure you are parking in designated locations to prevent any issues with traffic flow and the use of emergency vehicle routes. Please DO NOT park along Summit Hill Parkway at any time. We are excited to alleviate our parking issues with the completion of our expansion.

• Sign ups are closed. You must have signed up to attend. If you did not sign up, you will not be able to attend.
• We are on a tight schedule to have all class parties before lunch. Please make sure you clear out at the end of the party.
• Parties will take place on the playground turf and/or the cafeteria. Parents will be guided to and from the party area by a staff member. We will not walk through the building due to classes being in session. We appreciate your understanding.
• Please do not forget that IDs will be collected upon entry and returned upon exiting.

• SPIKE and our HHS Cheerleaders will be present for our Signing Day pictures! Each student that enrolls in Pre-K or Kindergarten will sign their "Commitment Letter" to attend Summit Hill Elementary and begin their journey of becoming a Howe Bulldog. 🐾
• If your student is already enrolled in Pre-K or Kindergarten, you DO NOT need to attend; however, you are more than welcome to come out and take a picture of your students signing.

CARD: You can go to the Summit Hill online store to purchase your shirt, and have it delivered to the school. You can scan the QR code on the form to access the online store. Please know that you will be charged taxes and a processing fee if you choose this option.

CASH/CHECK: Please fill out the order form and have your student return it with cash/check to school.

PRICE: *YXS-A3XL is $15.00, 4XL is $19.00 ,5XL is $20.00 ,6XL is $21.00

If your student does not purchase a shirt, no problem. Please have them wear a WHITE t-shirt to Day of Champions.

In addition to our monthly Perfect Attendance lunch pass, we are excited to launch an additional student attendance incentive for parents beginning Monday, February 2nd!

One student from each grade level will win 4 reserved, front-row seats for the end-of-year awards ceremony or PK graduation.

Each student with Perfect Attendance at the end of EACH WEEK will be entered into drawing for a chance to win. BONUS: If your student has Perfect Attendance for the entire MONTH, you will receive your lunch pass PLUS five additional entries into the drawing!

Perfect Attendance =

Your student must be at school from 7:50 a.m. until 3:20 P.M. to earn an entry.

Your student must be at school before the arrival doors close at 7:50 a.m. to earn an entry.

Your student can not leave early or at any point throughout the day to earn an entry.

What if my student has a doctor's appointment?

Please keep all of your appointments and your student can try again the next week.

What if my student is at school at the time attendance is taken, but leaves early?

Your student will not be able to earn an entry into the drawing this week, but will have another opportunity next week.

What if my student doesn't earn an entry this week?

No worries! Your student will have the opportunity to earn an entry next week.
