Term 3 Week 10 2026
Prayer
End of Term Prayer
As we come to the end of another school term, we thank You for the many blessings we have received.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus sends His disciples out to share the Good News, trusting in God’s care. Help us to follow their example by showing kindness, courage and faith in our daily lives.
We thank You for the learning and growth of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families.
As the holidays begin, bless our families with rest and safe travels. Renew our hearts so that we return refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
May we continue to share Your love and hope wherever we go.
Amen.
Our Vision and Values
From Mr Will
Dear Community Members,
As we reach the end of Term 3, I would always like to reflect on what has been a wonderful term at Holy Spirit School. Throughout the term, our students have demonstrated remarkable effort, determination and resilience in their learning and the many extra-curricular opportunities that make our community so special. Their willingness to challenge themselves gives me great pride and admiration. It is something that I consistently speak about to prospective families.
A recent highlight was our K-3 P&F Wild West Disco, which was exceptionally well planned and supported by our school community, with the hall transformed into a boot scooting paradise! It was wonderful to see so many parents and students enjoying the afternoon together. Great thanks those parents who helped and assisted in the lead up and on the day. The dance moves on display were outstanding!
A special congratulations must go to all students who participated in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival across the term. Whether it be our Year 2 class performing on stage, our Year 3-6 students singing in a choir, or those individual or duets playing an instrument or singing, our students represented Holy Spirit with bravery and dedication. What a great metaphor that is for life, nothing good comes without hard work and determination. Thank you also to our staff and families who supported these opportunities and helped our students share their gifts and talents.
As we move into the school holidays, I encourage you all take time to rest, recharge and enjoy quality time with family and friends. The holidays provide an important opportunity for students to recuperate, refresh and return ready for as always, an enormous Term 4.
A reminder that Friday September 25 is a Pupil Free Day, with students concluding Term 3 on Thursday September 24. Term 4 will commence on Monday, 12 October.
Finally, I would like to wish all those Fremantle Dockers supporters the very best in the lead up to the AFL Grand Final. I will be cheering them on and hoping they can create history by securing their first premiership. Go Dockers!
Until next time,
Ben
Speak Up Grand Finalists!
Congratulations to Eva and Quinlin for their outstanding performances in the Grand Final of the Speak Up competition. Eva was lucky enough to walk away with two prizes; joint 3rd overall and joint winner of the research award, an outstanding effort. Both students spoke exceptionally well on the night in front of a large crowd.
Congratulations Zac!
Zac in Year 5 recently won the Raiders Basketball Team Values award. This is given to a player who embodies the values of the team through respect, effort, integrity, accountability and positive leadership. Well done Zac, we are very proud of you!
Term 4 What's On
Sign In/Sign Out
Please ensure you sign your child in and out of the school if you are collecting them outside of regular drop off and pick up times. This safety measure ensures that we know which children are on and off the school site.
Thinking Ahead to 2027?
As we start planning for 2027, we understand that family circumstances can change and, from time to time, families may decide that a move to another school is the right choice for them.
If you think your child may not be returning to Holy Spirit in 2027, we would really appreciate hearing from you as early as possible. This helps us to offer places to students currently on our waiting list. Please complete the form - Families Departing Holy Spirit
In line with CEWA policies, families are kindly asked to provide written notice of at least one term (ten school weeks)before their child’s anticipated departure date. This notice helps us with forward planning and ensures we can support a smooth transition for your family.
Where the required notice period is not provided, one term’s fees in lieu of notice will apply, in accordance with CEWA policy.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Mr Will or our Enrolments department.

It’s a fun and creative activity for the students, while also helping our Year 6 families raise funds for a special leaving gift for the school.
