Please remember there is no school on Friday, November 10, 2023, for Veterans Day. Classes resume on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Many clothing items have been found around campus and are in the Lost and Found in the MPR. If your child has lost an item of clothing, please encourage them to check the Lost and Found to claim anything that has been turned in. We also highly recommend writing your child's name on the tag in coats and sweaters to help with returning items. Items left in the Lost and Found after a certain amount of time will be donated.

• School is in session as usual on 11/20 & 11/21.
• School is closed 11/22, 11/23, and 11/24.
• Classes resume 11/27.

The UNLV School of Dental Medicine is providing an opportunity for students to receive preventive services on November 28th and 30th at our school. This opportunity will provide oral health screenings, dental sealants, fluoride varnish, oral health education, and oral hygiene instruction to students with parent/guardian permission. A packet of information with an application has been sent home with students. For those interested, please completely fill out the packet and return it to school as soon as possible. Space is limited and participants will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Forms are due to the front office no later than Friday, November 17, 2023.

For the week ending November 9, 2023, student attendance rates were:

• Pre-K: 95.0%
• Kinder: 88.5%
• Grade 1: 90.7%
• Grade 2: 90.7%
• Grade 3: 96.4%
• Grade 4: 86.8%
• Grade 5: 95.9%

• Whole School: 92.1%

Regular school attendance is critical for student learning and achievement. Avoidable absences negatively impact a student's progress, and we appreciate families getting students to school on time each and every school day! Make Today Matter!
