A Message From Mrs. Williams A Message From Mrs. Williams

It’s Homecoming Week at GLHS! This is one of my favorite times of the year because it brings our students, staff, families, and community together in celebration of school spirit.

We’ll cap off the week with our Homecoming Football Game this Friday, September 26, at 7:00 PM as the Lions take on Central Crossing. Then on Saturday, September 27, from 8:00–11:00 PM, our students will dance the night away at the Homecoming Dance in the GLHS main gym. (See below for ticket purchase information.)

Homecoming is all about fun, friendship, and memories, but I also want to remind everyone that it’s important to celebrate safely and responsibly. We want this weekend to be full of positive experiences that our students will look back on with pride.

And of course, the week wouldn’t be complete without Spirit Week! Here’s how our students and staff are showing their school pride each day:

  • Matching Set Monday

  • Totally Wack Tuesday

  • Pink Out Wednesday

  • Throwback Thursday

  • Rushing into Friday

Let’s make it a week to remember full of laughter, spirit, and safe celebrations.

Go Lions!
