Note From Principal Pautler

Hello Bulldog Families,

What an AMAZING first short week of school it has been at Edmond Memorial High School! There is something special about the energy that fills our hallways when close to 3,000 Bulldogs come together to begin a new school year. Hopefully, your student has come home this week excited, encouraged, and ready for what lies ahead. If the first week didn't go exactly as planned, don't worry, there is a LOT of school year left to turn things around! A new day, a new week, and a fresh opportunity are always right around the corner. Our goal is to make sure every student knows they are valued, supported, and an important part of the Bulldog family.

🤠 Howdy Week is Coming!

Next week is Howdy Week, and we are ready to have some fun! Be sure to check out the dress-up days listed below and encourage your student to get involved. One of the biggest events of the week is the Howdy Picnic on Monday night. This is a ticketed fundraiser for STUCO, and it is ALWAYS PACKED!

The event takes place out on the football field and is a great way to kick off the week. Students will be decked out in their best western wear, and there will be line dancing, food, music, and even a mechanical bull! We hope your student will join us for what is always one of the most exciting nights of the school year!

🏫 Open House — Tuesday Night

We hope you will consider joining us for Open House on Tuesday night from 6:30–8:00 p.m. We run our Open House much like the middle schools do, with parents following a shortened version of their student's schedule. Each class will last 8 minutes, with a passing period between classes. Please see the schedule below for specific times. This is a wonderful opportunity to walk through your student's daily schedule, meet many of their teachers, and get a glimpse into their experience at EMHS. Please remember that some of our teachers also serve as coaches and sponsors, so there may be a few who are unable to attend because they are coaching or working with their activities that evening.

🎓 Senior Parent Meeting — Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

If you have a graduating senior, we also invite you to join us Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium for our Senior Parent Meeting. Senior administrator Lance Mock will walk families through all of the important information you need to know as you and your student begin the journey toward graduation. There is a lot to know during senior year, and this meeting will help make sure families are informed and prepared for all that lies ahead.

🌈 Color Wars — Thursday Night

Thursday night brings one of our favorite STUCO traditions, Color Wars! This is another cost entry fundraiser for STUCO and will be held at the track. Fair warning: your student will probably come home covered in color! 😂 It is messy, energetic, and a whole lot of fun. Be sure to check out the information below for details on how your student can participate.

🐾 Bulldog Bash — TONIGHT!

And finally, TONIGHT is the Bulldog Bash! We are gearing up for what is sure to be a HOT evening, but that won't stop us from celebrating the beginning of another incredible EMHS athletic season. In fact, we've already been chalking up some wins, so there's plenty to celebrate! Come out, support our student-athletes, enjoy the evening, and help us officially kick off the 2026–2027 athletic season. We would love to see our Bulldog families there!

What a tremendous first week! Thank you for the energy, enthusiasm, and support you have already shown our students and staff. Most importantly, thank you for trusting Edmond Memorial High School to educate, challenge, and support your student. We do not take that responsibility lightly.

At Memorial, we believe in something bigger than simply getting through four years of high school. We BELIEVE. BELONG. SACRIFICE TO BUILD A LEGACY. We want every student to believe in themselves and their potential, to know that they belong to something bigger than themselves, and to understand that building a meaningful legacy requires hard work, commitment, and sacrifice.

Have an AMAZING weekend, Bulldogs! We can't wait to see what next week brings!

Go Bulldogs!

Athletic Season Passes

As we begin the new year, we want to let you know that Edmond Public Schools has transitioned to GoFan as our new online ticketing platform. We are excited about this change and believe it will provide a much simpler and more convenient experience for purchasing tickets and athletic passes throughout the year.

To purchase tickets and athletic passes:

Important: If you are purchasing an EPS Student All-Sports Pass, you will enter the student's EPS Student ID number in the field labeled "Access Code."

Important Admission Information

Beginning this school year, all Edmond Public Schools athletic facilities will be cashless. Cash will NOT be accepted at the gate. Admission must be purchased online through GoFan prior to or upon arrival at the event.

To help make the transition as smooth as possible, I have attached two documents that walk you through the purchasing process and answer common questions.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back to Bulldog Stadium, the gym, and all of our athletic venues this year. Thank you for your continued support of Edmond Memorial Athletics. We look forward to seeing you at our events and cheering on our Bulldogs!
