The Woodlands College Park Theatre Presents..........Dracula
Don't miss Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors!
Ever wondered what would happen if you took Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire tale and put it into a blender with Mel Brooks, Monty Python, and The 39 Steps? That’s just what happens in this lightning-fast, laugh-out-loud, 90-minute, gender-bending romp. When her sister Mina falls ill with a mysterious disease of the blood, Lucy Westfeldt and her fiancé, Jonathan Harker, enlist the help of famed female vampire hunter Doctor Jean Van Helsing. Their hunt for the dangerous Count Dracula abounds with clever wordplay and quick-change antics.
The performances will take place on September 24, 25, 26, 27 at 7:00 pm in the Black Box. Seating is very limited (especially on Saturday), so don't delay.
Students, are you ready to lead, grow, and make a difference?
Leadership High School is a free leadership development and community awareness program sponsored by Lone Star College—and it’s open to motivated sophomores and juniors like you!
Only two students from each high school will be selected, so earning a spot is a big honor.
If you’re interested, talk with your counselor or visit the College & Career Center to learn how to apply.
Attendance
Current Attendance Rate 96%
Our 24-25 attendance rate was: 94.9%. Our goal for 25-26 is 98%!
CPHS wants All Cavaliers to Achieve. A large part of student success is related to student attendance. We want to teach our Cavs all we can in the days that we have with them. Please encourage your student to attend every period to gain the knowledge they need to be successful. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office or see the new Student Absence Reporting App information below. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed. We would also like to remind you that your child will be at risk of losing credit and parents/guardians may have to go to court due to attendance.

Cavalier Compass is a weekly video from our school counseling team, shared with all students during their Wednesday advisory. Its purpose is to provide resources, encouragement, and real-life skills that support students both in and out of the classroom. Topics range from study habits and course planning to mental health awareness, healthy lifestyles, and digital citizenship. Our goal is to connect with students in a fun, positive way while giving them tools to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
If you have any questions about Cavalier Compass, please reach out to our lead counselor, Kasey Lucas (kllucas@conroeisd.net).

Red Ribbon Week
Board Policy CO (Local) Food and Nutrition Management permits students to charge meals for no more than 15-school days. Below are the recommended guidelines to follow when students have insufficient funds and/or exceed the 15-day charge limit: Students in grades 7-12
- When a student’s account has a negative balance, once per week, the parent will receive notification by email and through Parent Access that their student has insufficient funds in their meal account.
- After 10-days of charges, the Child Nutrition Manager will refer the matter to the campus administration.
- Campus administration/counselors will contact the parent, verify the parent is aware of the situation, offer the school lunch program application, or other community resources, and help the parent finalize a plan to replenish the student’s account and clear all charges.
- Once the student has reached the 15-day charge limit no meals will be provided until the account is replenished, a payment plan has been initiated, or due to extenuating circumstances there is a campus administrative override to allow additional charges.
Applications for free and reduced-price meal service are available online at www.myschoolapps.com. Applications may be filled out anytime during the school year. Approval is based on federal guidelines. For more information, please call 936-709-8197

It’s a reliable and convenient way to stay informed about your child’s transportation. To get started, simply download the app, register, and link your child’s student ID.
