Volunteer at Haunted Fort!
Looking for volunteer hours or just love spooky season? Join a group of Century students volunteering at Fort Abraham Lincoln’s Haunted Fort on Friday, October 23!
We’ll meet at CHS at 5:00 PM for a quick group picture before heading to Fort Lincoln. Volunteers will work from 5:45 PM until approximately midnight and may help bring Haunted Fort to life in a variety of roles.
Students must complete both the official Haunted Fort registration AND the CHS signup form to participate. Sign up here
Students under 18 must pick up a waiver in the office, have it signed by a parent or guardian, and return it to Dr. Urbanec in E210 before October 23.
Questions? See Dr. Urbanec in E210.
Red, White, and Boo:
Century’s annual Red, White, and Boo indoor trick-or-treating event is Saturday, October 17, from 2:15–4:30 PM, and Student Council is looking for clubs, teams, and groups of friends to host a table!
Last year, more than 1,200 kids came through Century, and we want to make this year even bigger!
Hosting a table is easy: pick a theme, decorate your table, dress up, and hand out candy to our trick-or-treaters. Set-up begins at noon, but you only need to arrive as early as your group needs to be ready by 2:15. Bring candy; Student Council will also help supplement tables with candy donated by the community.
Interested in hosting a table? Sign up here!
Questions? See Dr. Urbanec in E210

Student Phone Outside Main Office
There is a phone for student use outside of the Attendance Office. If you use the office phone to contact a parent or guardian during the school day, please be sure to leave a voicemail so your parent or guardian knows who called them. If they do not have voicemail set up, please remind them to do so soon so that they don’t miss messages from you!
Patriot Packs
Century's Student Council is launching a new student-led program called Patriot Packs, designed to provide discreet, emergency access to feminine hygiene products for students who are caught by surprise during the school day.
These supplies will be placed in classrooms of participating female teachers throughout the building, with Student Council members responsible for organizing, maintaining, and restocking the packs. This program is meant for unexpected situations, not to replace students bringing their own supplies.
We are hoping to make this project entirely community-funded through donations. If you’re willing to support, we’ve created an Amazon wish list with the needed items; these items will be shipped directly to the school. Every donation helps ensure that no student has to miss class or feel embarrassed because they were unprepared for something completely natural.
Thank you so much for supporting our students and our school community!
