We are writing to bring to your attention the alarming increase in the number of unpaid lunch bills for some students. As you may be aware, these outstanding balances pose a significant financial challenge for our school, directly impacting our ability to allocate resources effectively.

While we completely understand how things can slip through the cracks, these outstanding balances are starting to impact our operational budget. This budget is what allows us to provide quality programs and support for all students.

If you could take a moment to settle any outstanding lunch bills tied to your child's account, it would go a long way in helping us maintain financial stability. We value your partnership in this matter.

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Declo Junior High School is a Title 1 school. This designation is a federally funded program that provides salaries for our paraeducators, and much needed funding to provide Friday School and academic support. Much of our funding comes from our Free & Reduced Lunch application qualifiers. Our school is below the required percentage to meet our current staffing levels.

As a school, we kindly request your participation in completing the enclosed Free and Reduced (F&R) application if you have not already filled it out at registration. Only one form is required per family. If there have been any changes in your household, we would appreciate the opportunity to provide the necessary support, so please inform us accordingly.

Free 4G Hotspot (100 GB per year)

We are asking that you please follow the drop off request for the safety of all students and to allow parking for our staff.

Option 1- Use the Gym parking lot to drop off/pick up (parents stay in the car)

Guardians may drop off students in the gym parking lot. We ask that you pull into the gym parking lot and use this area for all drop-offs from the hours of 7:10-8:05 AM. All students will need to enter through the main doors. All end-of-the-day pickups will also need to occur in the gym parking lot from the hours of 3:35-3:45 PM.

Option 2- Park and Enter

Guardians entering the building (volunteering, assisting students with projects, needing to visit the office, etc.) may park on the south side in the gym parking spots (parking closest to the gym). All parents and guests must enter the front office and sign in with the office staff.
