Bulldog Bulletin
February 9, 2024
Hello Sarah Adams Families,
Did you know that every morning students join me over the announcements? Together we greet the building, say the date and pledge, share birthdays and events, and finally we end with our tagline of 'Bringing our Bulldog Best every day'. As of this week, all classes and students have joined me for announcements! Starting next week we will begin our second cycle of students joining me in the office. It's a really fun way to begin each day!
I am excited to officially welcome Ms. Autumn Wallin as our new school nurse to our Sarah Adams staff! Ms. Wallin has great experience in pediatrics. She started working with our us last week and is quickly getting to know our students and is doing a wonderful job addressing their needs in a caring way. If you need to contact Ms. Wallin you can reach her at 847.540.2853.
Our lost and found is becoming very full of sweatshirts, shirts, water bottles, hats, gloves and more. If you feel like your child may be missing an article of clothing please have them visit the lost and found to see if they can be reunited with any items.
I hope you are able to enjoy the nicer weather this weekend, and that your favorite football team (or pop singer) wins on Sunday!
Have a great weekend,
Ms. Colleen Conway

Teachers Make A Difference Award
Annually, District 95 takes time to recognize its exceptional staff members. The Teachers Make a Difference Award is designed to recognize those teachers who have represented our mission and gone far beyond normal expectations in supporting or motivating a student or group of students. I hope each family will consider this opportunity to complete a nomination and share their own appreciation for our educators!
Click here to complete a nomination for the Teachers Make a Difference Awards
All nominations are due by midnight on February 19, 2024!
From the many nominations we anticipate receiving, a selection committee of district administrators will select three of our outstanding educators to be honored in front of their peers during our annual staff awards program. Winning teachers will also receive a monetary award toward the use of professional development or other educational resources to continue to support their exceptional work with students as well as to further their professional development.
