JBE PTO Carnival is Almost Here!
Can you please help us make the PTO Carnival possible? Our officers cannot do it alone.
We need volunteers to help make this event successful. You DO NOT have to come up with a game, just sign up to work it. Everything will be ready for you. It takes a village and we need you in ours. JBE PTO needs your help!
Can you donate a silent auction item by February 13th? Would you like to be a shirt sponsor by February 13th? Can you work a shift at the Carnival on February 22nd? Not interested in helping in those ways? How about making a Simple Donation to our PTO? We promise to put the funds towards our JBE students!
Contact the JBE Office, a PTO Officer or sign up on this sheet. We can't wait to enjoy Food, Games, and Fun with you at this good old-fashioned family fun event.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 22nd from 11am-2pm in the JBE Gym. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, community members, high school students, etc. We appreciate all the help we can get!
We appreciate your support and generosity in helping our PTO provide field trips, shirts, classroom supplies, fun and so much more to our students and staff. Please share and tag anyone who you feel would be interested in attending the carnival or supporting the JBE PTO!
Order Your Yearbook
It’s time to order your child’s 2025–2026 yearbook! This is your opportunity to capture and keep the special memories, friendships, and milestones from this school year.
Jonesburg Elementary
Deadline to order is 03/25/2026
Yearbooks start at $16.00
Visit our school’s store to order: https://shop.yearbookmarket.com/jonesburgelementary
Purchasing a yearbook not only gives your student a keepsake they’ll treasure for years to come but also supports our school’s programs and events throughout the year. Thank you for supporting our school and helping us celebrate another year of memories at Jonesburg Elementary.
Morning Drop Off Procedures & Handicap Parking
Please do not "park" in the morning drop-off line and get out to walk your student to the door, come talk to staff, etc. If you need to get out of your car, please park and walk up to ensure that the line can continue to move smoothly. If your student tends to take a little longer to unload, please pull up past the powercat so the line will continue to flow safely and smoothly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with our efforts to maintain the safety of all riders.
Please DO NOT block the handicapped accessible parking spots. We have several people that need those spots and have been unable to use them because they are blocked.
If you are not the one who picks up your student, please inform your designee of these important procedures.
Recess Temperature Reminder
**Reminder from the handbook**
Recess is scheduled for children to take a break from school studies. Every effort is made for children to have recess outside. All students are expected to go outside for recess as weather permits. Appropriate clothing should be worn according to the weather conditions. If students do not have appropriate clothing, every effort will be given to provide children with clothing from the nurse’s office. A student must have written or a medical excuse for an extended excuse from recess. In the event that weather conditions are not conducive to outside play, children will have an indoor recess period. The guidelines for indoor recess are when outside temperatures are 20 degrees or less or the outside temperature when combined with the wind chill factor of 20 degrees or less. If the heat index is 100 degrees or above, students will remain inside during recess.

Clothes & Shoes Recycling Bin at JBE
We have partnered with USAgain to collect clothes and shoes. This company will pay us 2 cents for every pound collected and will plant a tree (somewhere, not on our property) for every full bin. The bins are located on the southwest corner of our building. We will start spreading the word to the community soon and hope it will help the earth and raise a bit of money for our donation account.
