Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
This Sunday would have marked Robert Earl Hendrickson’s 104th birthday. I have no doubt he would be incredibly proud of the work happening at the school that bears his name. He had the opportunity to witness the building’s construction and its dedication in his honor—a lasting tribute to his legacy.
Over the years, countless remarkable students and staff have walked these halls, carrying forward his vision of excellence. Among those who make a difference every day is our incredible Counseling team. As we approach National School Counseling Week, I encourage you to take a moment to thank your counselor for their dedication and hard work.
Our counselors go above and beyond to ensure that every student has the support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Their commitment does not go unnoticed, and I hope they have the best week ever!

Tardies
Besides teaching academic content at Hendrickson, we pride our work on teaching life skills that students can take with them into the real world. One of those skills is being early or on time. We have reset tardies for the new year, but have noticed that more students than normal are showing up late for class, especially for the start of the day. We will be closely monitoring the list of students who show up late and assign the appropriate consequence. Please help us remind students that being early or on time is a huge life skill.
See Something, Say Something
The Anonymous Alerts is an anti-bullying and safety app reporting system that helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Students or parents can submit reports such as bullying, cyber bullying, depression, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats against the school, weapons on campus, and more.
The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between the submitters (students, parents, or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.
