For the safety of our students and staff, all adults entering the building must present a valid form of identification. Please ring the doorbell and hold your ID (such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport) up to the camera for verification. Once your ID is confirmed, the door will be unlocked for you. Principal's Corner
Dear Cielo Vista Families,
December has been a wonderfully busy month filled with exciting events. As we approach our final week before winter break, we kindly ask that students attend school each day so we can finish the fall semester strong. Please continue to encourage your children to uphold our Bobcat expectations by showing ROAR throughout the school day.
We wish you a joyful and restful winter break and look forward to welcoming everyone back on January 7, 2026. Stay safe, stay healthy, and enjoy the holiday season. Happy Holidays!
Warm regards,
Maria Guerra

Hello Cielo Vista Community,
As we enter the last week of December, we’d like to emphasize the importance of positive behavior and consistent attendance. Let’s stay focused, show up each day, and end the year strong!
This month’s reward will be a Dance Party! Students who maintain perfect attendance no absences, no tardies, and no early checkouts will receive an invitation for themselves and up to two parents or guardians to attend on January 2026. Together, you’ll get to enjoy an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and celebration of their accomplishments.
Thank you for continuing to encourage and support our students as they work toward a strong finish!
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at cfierro1@episd.org or 915-236-8375.
Counselor Corner
Dear Bobcat Families,
We would like to remind you of the ways we are celebrating student success at Cielo Vista this school year.
Our former Terrific Kids celebrations have transitioned to Bobcat of the Month, which is now a classroom-based recognition. Each month, teachers will select one student from their class who demonstrates the Core Essentials Value of the Month. These students will be acknowledged and celebrated within their classrooms, and teachers will continue to highlight their achievements each month.
We are also proud to continue our new schoolwide honor: the Extraordinary Bobcat. Every nine weeks, one or two students from each class will be recognized as outstanding role models of our Bobcat R.O.A.R. Core Values—Respectful, Organized, Accountable, and Responsible.
Families of Extraordinary Bobcats will receive an invitation with the date and time of the celebration, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus when your child is recognized.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to celebrate the leadership, responsibility, and character of our Bobcats throughout the year!
Holiday Cheer
Thank you to the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center and Officer Tobias for bringing holiday cheer to some our Bobcats.
