Buildings Buildings and yes...More Buildings Buildings Buildings and yes...More Buildings

On Monday we went on a virtual walk to Whole Foods. We are not able to go on an actual walk so we used google maps street view to see what is on the streets of Greenwich, looking for all the different types of buildings we could find along the way! After, we sat down and discussed what we saw, and where they were on the walk! Technology is so cool...

Story Walkthrough and Recap Story Walkthrough and Recap

We all know that feeling of reading to our child the same book what seems to be about 1000 times. Well its funny that this is actually a great way to help your child learn! We use these times to help with recall and predictions on what will be happening next. We read the book Changes, Changes, a book about two characters who use blocks to build many different things, from a house to a train! This book does not have any words associated with the pictures, so we decided to come up with some for our own telling and talk about what will be happening next.

Veterans Day Celebration Veterans Day Celebration

This weekend is Veterans Day, so the school had an assembly to honor some of the armed forces memebers in our community. We even had a representitive from our classroom, Olivia's Uncle, come and talk to the school! Our friends did great, sitting for a good time, singing songs and listening to all the different people.

A Big Thank You

A big thank you from our team to you all for everything that you do! Ms. Kristin, Ms. Julie and myself are all so lucky to have you as our families and for allowing us to be apart of your children's lives! We work hard to help your children improve and learn but teaching starts at home first and foremost so we wanted to say thank you!
