A Message from the Principal
Welcome Back to Second Semester, Tigers! 🐯
We’re excited to kick off a brand-new semester! This is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and reset as we head into the second half of the school year.
Take a moment to reflect on 1st Semester with your child:
Ask them a few of the following questions:
What went well for you 1st semester?
What class were you most proud of your effort in?
What was something you struggled with, and what can you do differently, and how can your parents help you?
Did you use your class time wisely?
Did you ask for help when you needed it?
Are you surrounding yourself with peers who will make you better?
Help them set some goals for 2nd Semester
Use these prompts to help you child start strong:
One academic goal I have is…
One habit I want to improve is…
One way I will stay more organized is…
One way I will better use my time in class is…
One way I will ask for help when I need it is…
Schedules & Fees
Second-semester schedules are now available. Please check your schedule carefully.
Some classes include course fees:
Art
Weights
Building Life Skills
These fees help cover supplies and materials needed for those classes.
Schedule Change Requests
We know schedule questions may come up. If you need to request a change, all emails must be sent to:
Mrs. Dooley
📧 brenna.dooley@usd340.org
If it is an easy switch and does not make class sizes too large, we will do our best to accommodate. However, for the most part, schedules will remain as they are, so please be sure to give your current schedule a fair try.
Second semester is a fresh start — new goals, new focus, and new opportunities to succeed. Let’s make it a great one, Tigers! 🐾
