The Sheiko Weekly Update
Sheiko Elementary: January 31, 2025

PRINCIPAL UPDATE
What an amazing week of learning and leadership!
Today, our high school students presented to all of our 3rd-grade classes as part of the "Voices of Equity" presentation. Be sure to ask your child about what they learned!
We also celebrated our Laker Leader Pizza Party, where one student from each class earned a special lunch with me for turning in the most Laker Leader tickets in January. Their dedication to leadership and kindness is truly inspiring!
To top it all off, our 5th-grade band, orchestra, and choir put on a fantastic concert. Their hard work and talent were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder!
And now for our BIG ANNOUNCEMENT—our Pistons Game is this Sunday! We can't wait to find out which class sold the most tickets. The winning class will enjoy a hot chocolate party with me! Thank you for your incredible support in making this event a success.
I cannot tell you how much your partnership means to us. Your involvement helps make our school a wonderful place where students grow, learn, and lead. Thank you for all you do, and I hope to see many of you at the game!
Have a fantastic weekend!
Goooooooooooooooooooooo Lakers!

P.S. Ask your child who was on the roof this morning to celebrate the kindergarteners 100th day of school!

PLEASE BE AT YOUR CHILD'S BUS STOP
Please be reminded that parents/caregivers are expected to be at the bus stop in the afternoon. If there is not an adult at the bus stop, the child will be brought back to school for parent pick up. If a child is returned to school three or more times, this could result in loss of bus transportation, and we don't want that to happen. In addition, students may not walk to a convenience store, for example, and wait for a parent or caregiver. The bus driver needs to see that the parent/caregiver is present. Thank you for keeping all of our Sheiko Lakers safe!
