My Purpose and Passion💙
Dear Booker Families, Staff, and Scholars,
We are officially ONE DAY AWAY from STAAR testing, and the energy across Booker Elementary is undeniable! Our scholars are prepared, our teachers are focused, and now we need everyone—families and students—to commit to making these next four weeks count.
This is our moment to show the state and the district that Booker is the BEST!
The work has been done. The growth is evident. Now it’s time for our scholars to slow down, stay focused, and give their absolute best effort on every single test. Every question matters. Every day matters. This is where it all comes together.
Families, we need your partnership now more than ever:
- Ensure your child is present every day and on time
- Avoid early pickups during testing days
- Encourage your child to take their time and double-check their work
- Speak confidence into them—they are ready!
Scholars, this is your time to shine! Show what you know, trust your learning, and remember:
You are capable. You are prepared. You will succeed.
Let’s finish strong, stay locked in, and push all the way through the finish line.
Booker is not backing down—we are rising up! B is for Booker… and we will rise above the rest and SHOW OUR BOOKER BEST!
With Bengal Pride,
Booker Administration

Mindset of Mastery – No Mediocre Thinking Allowed
Booker Families,
Please take time to encourage your child and remind them why it is so important not to rush, but instead to do their very best on every test. District and state assessments matter because they help schools make important decisions about the support and opportunities students may need. A child’s performance can help determine whether additional academic support, intervention, summer learning, or enrichment and advanced opportunities may be recommended for the upcoming school year.
Assessments such as STAAR and TELPAS provide valuable information about your child’s academic progress and language development. These results help schools identify strengths, address learning gaps, and plan the right instructional supports to help each child grow. They can also help guide future academic pathways and readiness for more advanced coursework and opportunities.
State assessments and screeners serve as important indicators of student progress and college, career, and military readiness over time. They give schools and families a snapshot of how students are performing and where additional support may be needed to ensure long-term success. That is why we ask every student to slow down, stay focused, and give their best effort on every assessment.
So we need your help more than ever now! For the next fews weeks, we will need you to support and encourage your scholars to:
- Do their BOOKER BEST ON EVERY TEST
BE HERE ON TESTING DAYS
BE ON TIME ON TESTING DAYS
BE READY & LASER FOCUSED!
BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL TO THEIR PEERS & STAFF
BE WILLING TO WORK & LEARN
BE AN ACTIVE LISTENER
BE THEIR BEST SELF
BE AN ADVOCATE FOR THEIR OWN ACADEMIC SUCCESS
BE A PROUD BENGAL!
BE THE ONE THAT MAKES SOMEONE DAY!
STAAR IS HERE! IT STARTS THIS WEEK! LET'S KEEP THE MOMENTUM DONE!
GUESS WHO WILL BE MOVING ON UP, SOON?
DISTRICT FEEDER PATTERN PROPOSAL SURVEY OPEN - March 6 - May 1

Spring ISD families, staff and community members — we want your feedback. Please review the two options and share your preferred feeder pattern by completing the survey.
Deadline: May 1 at 5 p.m.
Take the survey at http://www.springisd.org/FeederPatternSurvey
Your feedback will help guide the decision that will shape feeder patterns beginning in the 2027–28 school year.
