Dear Hardy Families,
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTA for organizing such a thoughtful and festive Educator Appreciation Week! Our Hardy team pours their hearts into making each day joyful, engaging, and supportive for our students—and it was so meaningful to see them celebrated and appreciated all week long.
As we enter the whirlwind known as Maycember—that unofficial season where May rivals December in chaos—we know there’s a lot coming your way. Between deadlines, celebrations, and end-of-year events, your inbox will be working overtime. But rest assured, all this hustle leads to meaningful moments for our students.
Here’s a quick look at the final week of school:
-
Monday, May 26 – No School (Memorial Day)
-
Tuesday, May 27 – Minimum Day
-
Wednesday, May 28 – Regularly Scheduled Minimum Day
-
Thursday, May 29 – Minimum Day & Last Day of School
-
Monday, August 11 – First Day of the 2025–2026 School Year
Thanks for your continued support as we wrap up a wonderful year!
With Gratitude,
Mrs. Aragon

Volunteer Reminder: Field Trip Season Expectations
As we head into one of the most exciting (and busiest!) times of the year—with field trips, celebrations, and special events—we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers. Your support means the world to our students and staff, and we’re grateful for the time, energy, and care you share with our school community.
To help ensure a safe, respectful, and smooth experience for everyone, please take a moment to review a few key reminders from the District Volunteer Code of Conduct:
-
Please sign in at the front office upon arrival and wear your volunteer badge at all times while on campus or at off-site events.
-
Adult restrooms must be used at all times.
-
Confidentiality is essential. Any student information you learn as a volunteer should remain private or only be shared directly with school staff.
-
Refrain from taking or posting student photos or information on social media.
-
Please do not provide food to students unless it is distributed by school staff or part of a district-approved plan.
-
Volunteers may not purchase items for students during field trips or outings.
These guidelines are designed to keep all students safe and supported, and we appreciate your partnership in following them.
PowerSchool Parent Portal
If you have not set up a Parent Portal Account in PowerSchool please do so ASAP. Beginning in the 25-26 school year, you will need this account to find out your child's teacher and turn in all beginning of the year paperwork! This portal continues to be of importance as your child goes through their schooling career so you can access report cards, test scores, grades and attendance.
You need a unique code to get started the first time, if you need assistance please reach out to our school librarian, Mrs. Curtin, and she will help you (mcurtin@sandi.net).
Field Day - Wednesday, May 21 - We need your support!
