Welcome Back!!! Welcome Back!!!

We are so excited to welcome our students back for the 2026-2027 school year! This is such an exciting time of year and we are looking forward to continuing our mission and theme of "Wildcat Rising." The Idea behind this message is to express the importance of our Wildcats rising to be the best versions of themselves. We are excited to be able to provide several new pathways for our students along with the staple of a solid core educational foundation that has always been present here in Archer City!

Our mission this school year is "Together We Rise"! The message that we will be echoing to our students, parents, staff members, and community is that while we can do great things on our own, but we can truly rise to our potential with support from those around us! Students in Grade 7 & 8 will place their Personal Communication Devices in a Lock Box as soon as they enter the school in the morning. This box will be stored in the front office throughout the day and returned to students upon dismissal!

Students in Grades 9-12 will have their phones turned off and stored out of sight at all times during the school day. Students who have phone visible in their pockets or in bags will be asked to turn in their phone for violation of the cell phone policy. If students would like to turn in their phone every day, they may do so at the front office prior to 1st period.

Archer City ISD is not responsible for lost or stolen phones and we are only holding phones as a convenience to students. State Law mandates that cell phones and other personal communication devices are not allowed at school during the school day.

School issue chromebooks are subject to this policy if they are being used in a non-academic way during the school day. Chromebooks should not be open during passing periods or at lunch.

Together We Rise

As we begin a new school year, our focus is simple: we are stronger together. Wildcat Rising: Together We Rise is more than a theme—it is a commitment to building a campus where every student and every staff member understands that they are an important part of our success. Individual accomplishments will always be worth celebrating, but our greatest victories happen when we support one another, share our strengths, and work toward a common purpose. No one person defines Archer City, and no one person carries our success. Every Wildcat has something to contribute, and when we bring those talents together, we all rise. This year, we will challenge ourselves to look beyond “me” and focus on “we”—because when one Wildcat grows, we encourage them; when one struggles, we support them; and when we succeed, we succeed together. Wildcat Rising: Together We Rise.
