What a wonderful evening we had at our St. Rita Trunk-or-Treat last Friday! It was great to see so many students and families enjoying this special tradition together.

A heartfelt thank-you to our PTO and parent volunteers who organized the festivities, including the decorated trunks, chili cook-off, and other activities. Thank you as well to our teachers and staff for helping supervise activities and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for our students and families. Our eighth-grade students also added to the fun by providing Halloween games.

Events like Trunk-or-Treat remind us of what makes St. Rita such a special community. When our families, faculty, and staff share their time and talents, we create meaningful experiences and strengthen the relationships that bring us together. This spirit of stewardship and service is an important part of our Catholic school mission, and I am grateful to everyone who helped make the evening a success!

Bring the whole family for an evening of reading adventures, hands-on literacy activities, FREE books, FREE food, and plenty of pirate-themed fun! This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading and writing together while discovering fun ways to support your child's literacy development at home.

Shorts are OPTIONAL and may be worn from August through October 31st and from April 1st until the end of the school year. Pants must be worn from November 1 until March 31st.

Girls in 1st–8th grade interested in joining the cheerleading team are invited to attend our sign-up and parent meeting on Monday, November 2nd, at 6:30 PM in the school gymnasium. The cost is $60 per athlete. We look forward to seeing you there!

¡Qué maravillosa velada disfrutamos el pasado viernes durante nuestro evento Trunk-or-Treat de St. Rita! Fue una gran alegría ver a tantos estudiantes y familias disfrutando juntos de esta tradición tan especial.

Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a nuestra Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTO) y a los padres voluntarios que organizaron las festividades, incluyendo los vehículos decorados, el concurso de chili y las demás actividades. También agradezco a nuestros maestros y personal escolar por ayudar a supervisar las actividades y garantizar un ambiente seguro y acogedor para nuestros estudiantes y sus familias. Nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado también contribuyeron a la diversión organizando juegos de Halloween.

Eventos como Trunk-or-Treat nos recuerdan lo que hace de St. Rita una comunidad tan especial.
