Murphy Messages

Vacation week has arrived! I hope you are excited for the week and that you have plans for some fun activities. This message contains some information regarding suggested activities, as well as some academic-focused fun for students and families to work on together as we look to continue to grow skills over the week.

We are excited to introduce a family math challenge for each grade level during our vacation week. We invite you to explore these optional activities. The hope is for families to have fun engaging in math together and to get our students to continue to practice math skills.

While many of our students have made great gains with reading throughout the school year, it is always important to practice their skills. Please consider designating a reading time each day for your child during the vacation week. Just a few minutes every day can make an incredible difference! (A visit to the library is always a great free activity!)

You can find many great resources in the virtual library.

A few minutes per day of Lexia and ST Math are a great way to sharpen and maintain those reading and math skills!
